1. Who we are

BESSARAB M.A. ("we", "us", "our") is a digital marketing agency based in Ukraine. We operate the website bessarab.marketing (the "Site") and are the controller of the personal information described in this policy.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

When you submit the contact or Growth Audit form on the Site, or email us, we collect the details you choose to provide:

• Name and business name
• Email address and phone number
• Website or social media link
• Services you are interested in, budget range and how you heard about us
• The message you write and your consent to be contacted

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, our analytics tools and hosting provider automatically receive technical data such as IP address, approximate location, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring page and time spent on pages. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies (see "Cookies and analytics").

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (for example health, financial account or government ID numbers). Please do not include it in your message.

3. How we use your information

• To respond to your inquiry, prepare a proposal or audit and communicate with you about it
• To contact you by email, phone or messenger about the request you submitted (you agree to this when you check the consent box on our form)
• To operate, secure and improve the Site and understand which pages and campaigns work
• To keep business records and comply with legal obligations
• To detect spam, abuse and fraud

We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

4. Service providers we use

We share information only with providers that help us run the Site and handle inquiries, and only as needed for those purposes:

• Netlify — hosting of the Site and processing of form submissions
• Google (Google Sheets / Apps Script) — we store inquiries in a private spreadsheet so our team can follow up
• Telegram — internal notifications to our team when a new inquiry arrives
• Google Analytics 4 — website analytics

These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and privacy policies. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, or in connection with a merger, sale or reorganization of our business.

5. Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the Site (for example which pages are viewed and how visitors arrive). Google Analytics uses cookies and similar identifiers.

• You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings
• You can opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on
• If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as an opt-out of any sale or sharing of your information

6. International data transfers

We operate from Ukraine, and our service providers may process data in the United States, the European Union and other countries. By using the Site and submitting your information you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries whose data protection laws differ from those where you live. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the standard contractual clauses used by our providers.

7. How long we keep information

We keep inquiry details for as long as needed to respond to you and to maintain a business relationship, and generally delete or anonymize them within 24 months after our last contact unless a longer period is required by law or by a contract with you. Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings of our analytics account.

8. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live (including California and other U.S. states with privacy laws, and the EEA, UK and Switzerland), you may have the right to:

• Know what personal information we hold about you and receive a copy
• Correct inaccurate information
• Delete your information
• Object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent at any time
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information or targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising
• Not be discriminated against for exercising your rights

To exercise a right, email bessarab.marketing@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request and will respond within the time required by applicable law. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

9. Marketing messages

We contact you about your request only. If we later send you marketing emails, each message will include a way to unsubscribe, and you can also ask us to stop at any time by emailing us.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls on our spreadsheets and tools, and limiting access to team members who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children's privacy

The Site is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Third-party links

The Site may link to third-party websites, including client websites and social media platforms. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the current version. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site.
